Hi, Twig here, to talk about some content that Genghis Khan was talking about in one of his recent posts. After a lot of time spent thinking about what he was talking about, I find it hard to believe that humans can exist happily in a world like this. Every passing week, I struggle to find the strength to keep looking for my fellow people, but you are all only looking for ways to kill each other more easily, and at the same time. Maybe it is just the US that has this desire to kill and destroy, but it is clear to me now that ending lives is nothing new to any of you.
After all this time of reading, posting and learning, it was bound to happen that I would learn of how badly humanity likes to pointlessly kill each other, but i would have liked it better if you all just were able to live with each other. But maybe that is too much to ask for. In Khans post, he speaks about how the United States just ignores other countries deals to help keep people safe, and prefer to make hidden bombs in the ground and weapons that explode to reach the most amount of people as possible. Why on Earth would you want to dedicate so much time and attention to creating more effective killing methods? And once the bombs, or mines as you call them are put underground, how are people ever supposed to know where they are if you don’t remember? It doesn’t look like they can tell people apart, because they don’t have eyes, and even if they did, it would be useless because the dirt is covering them anyways. Bombs and weapons do not care who they kill, but maybe that is exactly the speed of the United States.
However, it does make me happy that over 160 other countries can actually agree that creating and using weapons like that is actually a bad idea. Maybe those people really believe that the lives of all creatures are important, and maybe that there are other ways to solve problems besides killing them. But my problem is that if a few other people decide not to play fair, then what is stopping them from having that over the others if they decide to attack them? Hopefully since it seems that all of those issues are trying to be kept in the past, that problem wont ever come, but me knowing only so much about humans, and this looking like a huge part of your history, who knows.
And Khan, how do you agree with all of that? You had me thinking you were going to talk about baking, but then it was all about killing people and weapons. Maybe you gain something out of it, as any who enjoy the act do, but do you not feel bad at all for what you do? Even a little? I guess where I come from, there are not many people to be friends with, so my opinion may be a little different, but maybe because you have so much, you only want more? I’m not sure, and I do not think I could ever know, but what I do know is that making bonds with others is better than any physical gains you can have.
